یہ فلم رومانوی کامیڈی کہانی پر مبنی ہے،کہانی کے ابتداء میں مزاح کا تڑکا لگایا گیا، فلم کے گانوں میں بالی فلموں کی جھلک بھی دیکھائی دی گئی، فلم کے گانوں کی عکس بندی رومانوی انداز میں برفیلے پہاڑوں پر کی گئی جس نے بالی ووڈ فلموں کی یاد تازہ کردی، گانوں کی شاعری بھی لاجواب تھی جس کی ایک اہم وجہ یہ بھی ہے کہ  فلم کے گانے بھارت کے مشہور شاعر گلزار نے لکھے ہیں انہوں نے پہلی بار پاکستانی فلم شاعری کی ہے

دانش تمیور (علی ) کا کردار ایک ایسے پاکستانی کا دیکھایا گیا ہے جو کئی سالوں بعد چین سے وطن واپس آتا ہے اور اپنی بچپن کی محبت کو پانے کا خواہش مند ہوتا ہےساتھ  شہر کے شور شرابے کو پرسکون فضاء میں تبدیل کرنے کی بات کرتا ہے، فلم میں دانش تیمور کا جذباتی انداز بھی دیکھایا گیا، فلم میں اداکار جاوید شیخ کو علی والد کے کردار میں دیکھایا گیا جو اپنے بیٹے کی جدوجہد میں ہر لمحہ اسکے ساتھ کھڑا رہتا ہے

اداکارہ ثناء جاوید کا کردار ایک ایسی لڑکی کا ہے جو شمالی علاقے کے دلفریب ، دلکش اور پُرسکون فضاء میں رہنے والی شرمیلی لڑکی کا ہے جو کراچی شہر کے شور شرابے، گندگی اور ہنگامے کے باعث خوفزدہ رہنے لگتی ہے اور ذہنی دباؤ کے شکار ہوجاتی ہے جس کے باعث نئے جوڑے کو اولاد کی پیدائش میں مشکلات کو سامنا ہوتا ہے ، اہلیہ کے ذہنی سکون کی خاطر علی اپنے محلے میں تبدیلی کے لیے آواز بلند کرتا ہے جس میں محلے کے رہنے والے افراد بھرپور انداز میں اسکا ساتھ دیتے ہیں۔

فلم میں ایک ایسا سیاسی کردار بھی دیکھایا گیا جو کرپشن اور اپنے سیاسی اثرو رسوخ کے

 خاطر علی اور مہر انساء کے فلیٹ کو کوڑیوں کے دام خریدنے کیلئے مقامی غنڈوں کی مدد لیتا ہے۔

فلم کا سب اہم پہلو یہ ہے کہ اس میں پرانی روایت کو توڑ نوجوان نسل کی جانب سے تبدیلی ، ماحول کو صاف اور پُرسکون بنانے کی بات گئی جبکہ فلم میں شاندار سیٹ بھی بنایا گیا جس میں پورا محلہ ایک سیٹ بنایا گی

اداکار رنبیر کپور نے اداکارہ کترینہ کیف سے علیحدگی کی وجہ بتا دی

ممبئی: بالی وڈ اداکار رنبیر کپور نے اداکار کترینا کیف سے علیحدگی کی وجہ ان کے منفی رویے کو قرار دے دیا ہے۔

بھارتی میڈیا کے مطابق بالی ووڈ کے چاکلیٹی ہیرو رنبیر کپور نے اپنی سابقہ دوست کترینہ کیف کے ساتھ تعلقات ختم کرنے وجہ بتاتے ہوئے کہا کہ میں اپنی زندگی میں مزید منفی رویہ برداشت نہیں کرسکتا تھا لہٰذا اس رشتے کو ختم کرنے میں ہی عافیت جانی۔

اداکار رنبیر کپور اور کترینہ کیف نے طویل قربت کے بعد اچانک ایک دوسرے سے کنارہ کشی اختیار کرلی تھی، دونوں اداکاروں کے درمیان حالات اتنے کشیدہ ہو گئے تھے کہ انہوں نے ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ کام کرنے سے بھی صاف انکار کر دیا تھا لیکن اب دونوں طویل عرصے بعد فلم "جگا جاسوس" کی تشہیری مہم کے سلسلے میں ایک بار پھر ساتھ ساتھ نظر آ رہے ہیں۔

اس موقع سے فائدہ اٹھا کر میڈیا نے رنبیر سے ان کے تلخ ماضی کے بارے میں سوالات پوچھتے ہوئے کترینہ کے ساتھ علیحدگی کی وجوہات جاننے کی کوشش کی، پہلے تو رنبیر نے میڈیا کے سوالات کو نظر انداز کیا، پھر انہوں نے اس معاملے پر خاموشی توڑتے ہوئے کہا کہ میرے اور کترینہ کے درمیان معاملات اس حد تک خراب ہو چکے تھے کہ میں نے فیصلہ کرلیا تھا کہ اب اس رشتے کو مزید آگے نہیں بڑھانا۔

رنبیر نے کہا کہ میں اپنی زندگی میں مزید منفی رویہ برداشت نہیں کرسکتا تھا اس لئے یہ رشتہ ختم کرنے میں ہی عافیت جانی تاہم کسی کے ساتھ تعلق قائم کرنا یا علیحدگی اختیار کرنا زندگی کا حصہ ہے اور ہمیں اسی کے ساتھ جینا ہے، مجھے نہیں معلوم ہماری علیحدگی کے بارے میں میڈیا پر کیا لکھا گیا اورمیں جاننا بھی نہیں چاہتا۔

واضح رہے کہ ہدایت کار انوراگ باسو کی فلم "جگا جاسوس" میں رنبیر کپور اور کترینہ کیف مرکزی کردار ادا کر رہے ہیں تاہم یہ فلم دونوں اداکاروں کی ایک ساتھ آخری فلم ہو سکتی ہے کیونکہ ایک انٹرویو کے دوران کترینہ نے رنبیر کے ساتھ مزید کام کرنے سے صاف انکار کر دیا تھا۔

Analysis: A shot-in-the-foot Eid

Filmmaking in Pakistan is in its initial stages, no matter what filmmakers say about the revival of film industry in the country. Apart from a few knowledgeable people in the country, others have no idea about how the business of films works in this part of the world. That’s one of the main reasons why this Eid is all set to be the worst in recent years as people with no knowledge were trusted with making films, and they failed to deliver.

One must quote the director of Yalghar Dr Hassan Waqas Rana who declared that his film would stand against any venture from abroad and that’s the spirit we need to admire. He didn’t have any issues with the release of Tubelight as he had complete faith in his own product, something others don’t. The decision to not release Tubelight in Pakistan has damaged the business and the over-patriotic people should be blamed for this ill-thought suggestion. Let me explain why.

Two years back when Bin Roye and Wrong No. were released, they had to face stiff competition from Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijan. Thankfully, Bajrangi Bhaijan became a huge hit all over the world and people thronged to watch Sallu bhai in action. Those who didn’t get the ticket stayed back and watched either Bin Roye or Wrong No. as none of the cast members of both films (excluding may be Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed) had the ‘pull-factor’ of Salman Khan. All three films were declared winners and everyone went home a happy man. The cinema industry also got a boost due to this sudden rise in business, which continued till the cinema owners decided to ban Indian films because of Uri attack.

Fast forward to 2017 when the cinema industry is in its worst phase due to that self-imposed ban as well as bad quality films produced in the first five months. Some highly intelligent people met before Ramazan and decided to ban Salman Khan’s Tubelight because in their minds, if the film got released, it will cut down the business of Yalghar and/or Mehrunisa V Lub U. What they didn’t anticipate was the fact that a Pakistani film can pull just a few people on Eid day whereas a Salman Khan film – no matter how bad – pulls every Salman Khan fan. The statement by Yalghar-star Shaan regarding the length of his role didn’t go down well with the audience – hence the advance booking was at its all-time low.

Mehrunisa V Lub U also failed to attract audience because all pre-release reviews (except one) bashed the film for its vulgar script, nonsensical dialogues and below average acting. Yes there was a message but that came very late in the film, when half of the audience would have left or would be sleeping. It’s only for the frontbenchers that too at single screen cinemas because the kind of ‘stage humour’ in the film is the reason no one goes to theatre anymore.

The English films are there too but one of them – Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man Tells No Tales – was declared a flop when it was released a month back internationally. Same is the case with the fifth installment of Transformers that hasn’t done well at the Box Office. Baby Driver, the film with the most impressive trailer, would be released on Wednesday while the release of Cars 3 has been pushed forward as well. Kids will throng the cinemas for Despicable Me 3 and may be Wonder Woman that was the highest-grossing film in Ramazan. Tom Cruise will greet the audience with The Mummy, which is possibly his worst film ever but as he says, ‘Desperate Times, Desperate Measures’. The moral of the story is that one shouldn’t play God even if it means for cinema business because you never know which film might hit, or might miss at the box office....

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput is all set to launch friend and nutritionist Pooja Makhija’s next book titled “Eat. Delete. Junior” based on balanced nutrition for children.

Earlier, Kareena has been approached to write a book on shattering every conventional thing associated with pregnancy in India. 

 Initially, Mira was busy nursing her dearest daughter post which she decided to get back to her routine and to a fitness regime for healthy and steady weight loss.

Pooja felt Mira was the ideal one to launch her book based on child nutrition from birth to young adulthood. “It lays special emphasis on lactation specific diets as well, a topic that is usually not given much importance, thus roping in Mira seemed an obvious choice,” said a source.

Mira, who will be launching the book at a press conference soon, will also talk about the challenges new mothers face introducing foods to their children as well as sustaining a balanced diet, thereby sharing some personal experiences as well.

Mira had earlier said, “I am a homemaker and wear that label with pride. I had a tough pregnancy. I went through those five months of difficult times to bring our daughter into this world. Now I want to spend every moment that I can with her. I think that there are some set of responsibilities on my plate and I feel at my age, I have a lot more energy. I have my future ahead of me, I can finish all my responsibilities and I have nothing in my way. I can raise my daughter, I can be a good wife and I can set my house the way I like. I love being at home and love my child.

The Hindi trailer of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ has been released in which bollywood actor Tiger Shroff lends his voice. The actor dub his voice for Spiderman.

In fact, for the promotions of the film, the makers shot a small video at a cafe in which Spider-man made a special visit to the customers who walked in. Even in India, the fan frenzy around this character from Marvel’s Cinematic Universe is well-known.

The movie stars Tom Holland as teenage Spider-Man, while Michael Keaton plays the villain Vulture. Directed by Jon Watts the movie will release in India on July 7 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Will Aishwarya Rai Bachchan make her singing debut with ‘Fanney Khan’?

After Salman Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan seems to be the latest Bollywood actor to have been bitten by the singing bug.

After making heads turn with her sensuous performance in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the 43-year-old actor will return to the big screen with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s musical-drama, “Fanney Khan”.

“The team starts building the set in Mumbai next month and Anil will kick off shooting in the first week of August. Aishwarya joins him by the month-end and the film will wrap up in a start-to-finish schedule by October,” Prerna Arora, who is co-producing the film with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, told Mirror.

She added that Aishwarya will be seen in a new avatar in “Fanney Khan”. Prerna said, “Almost all of Ash’s scenes are with Anil. Her character is the complete opposite of her serious turns in “Jazbaa” and “Sarbjit”. In our film she is the spunky, enchanting female protagonist”.

“Fanney Khan” is the Hindi adaptation of the 2000 Dutch release, Everybody’s Famous! However, the makers have given their own twist to the plot.

Quiz her about reports that Priyanka Chopra turned down the role because she was unhappy with the script and the filmmaker clarifies, “Since I came on-board, we’ve only approached Ash. She was our first and only choice for the film.”
